Control Systems
|
The Myra Drying Control Systems (DCS) are designed to provide manual or automated control for existing machines/processes.
The DCS uses environmental inputs and complex control parameters to redefine the environment as an approximation of moisture content. Utilising the computation amongst many other perimeters, decisions are made to provide efficient automated drying.
The system can be adapted to a multitude of different energy sources which include direct heating through Gas Burners, indirect heating via heat exchangers etc...
KEY FEATURES:
- 2 Automated Ambient-influenced partial drying programs
- Over-energetic heaters providing management of dampers and fans to help control (This is not a replacement for independent over-temp safety)
- Where the DCS is unable to control over heating, provision for system shutdown
- Eco-Mode (To use the most energy efficient perimeter to maintain drying at pre-determined rate) (automated only)

The system can be adapted to a multitude of different energy sources which include direct heating through Gas Burners, indirect heating via heat exchangers etc...
KEY FEATURES:
- PID Control of energy input (manual or automated)
- Variable Speed (VSD) of circulatory systems (manual or automated)
- Management of fresh air input (manual or automated)
- Manual Mode operation
- Programs to dry to an approximated finished target moisture (automated only)
- 2 Automated Ambient-influenced partial drying programs
- Common control parameters covering all common settings for each program (automated only)
- Up to 4 drying stages to help manage fan, air intake and driving power along the drying curve
- Time of day drying. I.E. Start Dryer at 8am, Shutdown Dryer at 6pm (automated only)
- Power Management: (automated only)
- Over-energetic heaters providing management of dampers and fans to help control (This is not a replacement for independent over-temp safety)
- Where the DCS is unable to control over heating, provision for system shutdown
- Data logging of all key perimeters (automated only)
- Trending of information in ‘real time’ (automated only)
- 2 Core modes of operation:
- Eco-Mode (To use the most energy efficient perimeter to maintain drying at pre-determined rate) (automated only)
- Monitoring Mains Power (automated only)
- Monitoring controlled equipment for errors (automated only)
- Reporting via email on faults and errors (these features are only available if connected to internet and/or with the additional of suitable devices) (automated only)
- Remote Monitoring, Management and Control (dependent on available services) (automated only)
